Walnut Street lane restrictions
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announced today that beginning Tuesday, Sept. 27, at 8 a.m., PCE Inc.,
the contractor working for Waters Realty Associates, will begin removal
and replacement of the sidewalk on the north side of Walnut Street
between Fourth Street and Providence Road. This work will result in lane
restrictions for the westbound lane of Walnut between Fourth Street and
Providence Road. Two-way traffic shall be maintained by channelization
barrels and signage. 
	The work should be completed, weather permitting, and the street
should be fully reopened, Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 5 p.m. Motorists and
pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the
construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
