Painting scheduled
COLUMBIA, MO (September 29, 2005) -- The Public Works Department
announced Park Mark, Inc., will be re-striping pavement markings
(weather permitting).  The following streets will be repainted beginning
Monday, October 3 and continue through Monday October 17:  Nifong Blvd.,
Chapel Hill Rd., Garth Ave., Rogers St., Broadway, Fairview Rd.,
Downtown District and various other streets.

Striping will begin at 8 p.m. and continue to 6 a.m. each day. 
Motorists encountering the paint striping equipment should avoid
crossing freshly painted lines and use an alternative route whenever
possible. Anyone having questions related to the maintenance work
planned should contact the Traffic Division at 874-6292.
