Sewer work on East Broadway and Eighth Street (downtown)
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department Sewer Utility will
repair two sanitary sewer manholes on Wednesday, April 26. An alternate
date, if postponement is required due to inclement weather, is Thursday,
April 27. 
	One manhole is located at the intersection at East Broadway and
Eighth Street and the other manhole is located in Eighth Street at the
alley between East Broadway and Cherry Street. The street will remain
open but on-street parking may be restricted and traffic may be diverted
through the work area. The work will begin at 7 a.m. and will be
completed prior to 4:30 p.m.   
	Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution when driving
through the work area and use alternate routes when possible. Anyone
having questions related to the planned work should call the Sewer
Utility at (573) 874-6287.
