Elm Street lane closure
(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announced today
that beginning Thursday, April 27, at 7 a.m., PCE Inc., the contractor
working for the United Methodist Church, will begin pouring a concrete
floor in the Church Activity Center adjacent to Elm Street. This work
will result in the temporary closure of the westbound lane of Elm Street
between Ninth Street and Tenth Street. Two-way traffic shall be
maintained by flag men.
The work should be completed and the street fully reopened that
day, weather permitting, Thursday, April 27, at 1 p.m. Motorists and
pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the
construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
