Columbia Transit updates school bus passes
(COLUMBIA, MO) - Getting to school just got easier. Columbia
Transits new 7-Day Student FASTPass gives students a weeks worth
of unlimited bus use for $2.50. Unlike the old weekly pass, which was
only good Monday through Saturday, the student FASTPass is good for
seven calendar days from first use. Students who buy and use their pass
on Tuesday will still be able to use their pass the following Monday.
Passes bought and used on Wednesday will expire the following Tuesday.
The expiration date prints on the back of the pass, so students know
when its time to buy a new one. FASTPass is available at Wabash
Station Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Saturday 10
a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The 7-Day FASTPass is exclusively for students and
requires a student ID to use.
All high schools, junior high schools and Gentry and Smithton
middle schools are on city bus routes. Bus schedules are available at
the school offices. Columbia Transit personnel will be at schedule
pickups at the junior high schools and two middle schools in mid-August
to answer questions about riding the city bus. For more information,
call Columbia Transit at 874-7282 or visit the Web site at
www.GoColumbiaMo.com.
