September Older American Klub & 50+ programs

COLUMBIA, MO (August 23, 2006) -- Columbia Parks and Recreation’s
Older American Klub offers many programs for those 50 and older. Join
the fun at Parkade Center, 601 Business Loop 70W, Ste 216B (east side)
for music, dance, crafts and more. 

Potluck & Bingo
Friday, Sept. 1, 11:30 a.m., 50 cents
Please bring a dish. Meat and drink provided. 

Solo Cooking
Friday, Sept. 8, 10 a.m., HyVee Grocery Store

Jamm and Dance Session
Friday, Sept. 8, 7-10 p.m., free

St. Louis Cardinals game
Wednesday, Sept. 13, Cardinals vs. Astros, game time at 1 p.m. depart
Parkade Center at 8:30 a.m., $30 includes motor coach and game ticket

Fall Dance
Friday, Sept. 15, 7-10 p.m., $3

Pool Tournament
Friday, Sept. 22, 10:30 a.m., $1

Game Night
Friday, Sept. 22, 6-9 p.m.

Fifth Friday Free Dance
Friday, Sept. 29, 7-9 p.m.

OAK 50+ Explorers
Monday, Sept. 25, Horticulture/AgriForestry in New Franklin, $5 plus
lunch, call 874-7475 to register. 

Daily Activities
Coffee & Gab: 1st and 3rd Tuesday, 9 a.m.
Painting: Mondays, 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Ceramics: Tuesdays -Thursdays, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Wednesdays, 5:30-9:30
p.m.
Crafts: Fridays, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Bingo: Tuesdays, 2 p.m.
Pool: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
OAK Jammers/Goldenaires: Wednesdays, 1-3 p.m.
Choir: 1st and 3rd Tuesday, 10-11 a.m.
Bell Choir: 2nd and 4th Monday, 2:30-3:30 p.m. 
Variety Band: 2nd and 4th Thursday, 10-11 a.m.
Rhythm Band: 2nd and 4th Thursday, 2-3 p.m.
Ukelele: 1st and 3rd Monday, 2-3:30 p.m.
