Lets Talk Columbia!: Back To School Dialogue
Community Perspectives on the Achievement Gap

6 p.m.- 8:45 p.m.
(COLUMBIA, MO) - LET'S TALK, COLUMBIA! is an opportunity
for citizen involvement in dialogues on diversity. The program is
sponsored by the Commission on Human Rights. The Commissions goal is
that through personal interaction, understanding is fostered and
relationships are strengthened, creating a greater community-wide
appreciation for human diversity.
This months topic is hosted by the Columbia Million Father
March 2006. Parents, students, teachers, administrators, board members
and concerned citizens are invited to be a part of this dialogue.
Discussion will address the question of what is the achievement gap in
Columbia and how it affects our students, families and the community.
Hear and share personal perspectives and action ideas for
