Lane restrictions on Broadway, Fourth Street 
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announced today
that beginning Monday, July 17, at 7 a.m., Tallmage Plumbing, the
contractor working for the Second Baptist Church, will begin
construction of a water main along the east side of Fourth Street
immediately north of Broadway. This work will result in temporary lane
restrictions on Broadway at Fourth Street and on Fourth Street
immediately north of Broadway. Two-way vehicular traffic shall be
maintained, however the sidewalk on the east side of Fourth Street will
be closed to pedestrian traffic. 
	The work should be completed and the street fully reopened,
weather permitting, Thursday, July 27, at 7 p.m. Motorists and
pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the
construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
