Start construction of Sanitary Sewer District #149	
								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) * The Public Works Department announced the
beginning of construction of the Sanitary Sewer District #149 Project
along Edgewood Avenue from Redbud Lane, south to the cul de sac. This
project is scheduled to begin Monday, July 24, weather permitting. 
	Case Excavating LLC of Jefferson City, Mo., was the successful
bidder on the project in the amount of $96,535. This project will
consist of 665 linear feet of 8-inch diameter sanitary sewer pipe, 170
linear feet of 4-inch diameter sanitary sewer lateral pipe, four
manholes and the abandonment of an existing private common collector
system.
	Temporary lane restrictions along Edgewood Avenue, Redbud Lane
and Lakeshore Drive will be experienced as construction progresses. It
is anticipated that construction will be complete by late September.
Care should be exercised in the construction area and alternate routes
should be used.
