Westbound Broadway traffic restricted next week to replace water main
line		
							
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The week of July 31 - Aug. 4, Columbia Water
and Light will replace a water main line in one of the westbound lanes
of East Broadway across from Waugh Street in the downtown area. The
construction crews will need to close one lane of Broadway from 8:30
a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day next week, weather permitting. The pedestrian
crossing at Waugh Street will also be closed. Eastbound traffic will not
be restricted. Motorists are urged to use caution while driving in this
area.  
	Columbia Water and Light is replacing the water line on East
Broadway to increase water pressure for fire flows. It is part of an
ongoing upgrade plan for the downtown area. Water service should not be
disrupted in the area during the construction process.
