Temporary closure of Fourth Street
								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announced today that beginning Thursday, May 11, at 7 a.m., I & I Works
Inc., the contractor working for the city, will begin the removal and
replacement of the street approach of Fourth Street at Locust Street.
This work will result in the temporary closure of Fourth Street to thru
traffic. Local traffic will still be able to access Fourth Street from
Cherry Street or Broadway. 
	The work should be completed and the street should be reopened,
weather permitting, Friday, May 12, at 7 p.m. Motorists and pedestrians
are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and
use an alternate route whenever possible.
