Twilight fun at Flat Branch Park

COLUMBIA, MO (May 18, 2006) -- Thursdays in June will offer fun for all
ages in downtown Flat Branch Park! From music to a movie to acrobats,
the Columbia Parks and Recreation Department has teamed up with the
Convention and Visitors Bureau to provide family entertainment during
each Twilight Festival. Flat Branch Park is located at 4th and Cherry. 

June 1 - Flat Branch Outdoor Cinema Series presents "Chronicles of
Narnia": Movie begins at 8:45 p.m. Cost of admission for the movie is
$3; children 6 and under are free. The movie follows a slate of
entertainment: magic show from 6-6:40 p.m., fire-eating show from 7-7:40
p.m. and a juggling show from 7:50-8:30 p.m. 

June 8 -The Bubbas: a sensational family band playing rock-n-roll and
country music. 

June 15 - Twilight Karaoke: Do you like to sing? Join us for this
fun-filled night of karaoke. Participants are required to register.

June 22 - Bottom of the Boot Bluegrass Band: fun and energetic
bluegrass band. 

June 29 - Amazing Acrobatic Action: Watch as the St. Louis Arches
Circus Troupe perform a wide variety of circus skills including
tumbling, trapeze, juggling stilt walking, tight-rope walking,
unicycling, mini-trampoline and partner acrobatics. The Arches are a
sensational youth circus troupe comprised of children aged 7 to 14 years
old.
