City offices closed on Memorial Day

COLUMBIA, MO (May 25, 2006) -- City offices will be closed on Monday,
May 29, in observance of Memorial Day. Offices will reopen on Tuesday,
May 30.

Residential refuse and blue bag collection will not be made on Monday,
and will be delayed one day throughout the week.

City buses will not operate, the sanitary landfill will be closed and
parking meter regulations will not be enforced.

Though administrative offices for both the Police and Fire Departments
will be closed, all other emergency services will be available.
