Temporary lane closure on Sixth Street
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department announced today that beginning Wednesday, Nov. 22, at 12 p.m., Universal Mechanical, the contractor working for the University of Missouri, will begin a crane lift operation at Lafferre Hall on the UMC Campus. This work will result in the temporary closure of the northbound lane of Sixth Street immediately north of Stewart Road. Two-way traffic will be maintained by flag men. 
	The work should be completed that day, weather permitting, by 4 p.m. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
