Temporary closure of alley between Sixth Street and Seventh Street
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announced today
that beginning Wednesday, Oct. 4, at 7 a.m., Weathercraft Inc., the
contractor working for CenturyTel, will begin re-roofing the CenturyTel
Building at 625 Cherry St. This work will result in the temporary
closure of the alley between Sixth Street and Seventh Street just south
of Broadway. 
	The work should be completed and the alley fully reopened,
weather permitting, Monday, Nov. 27, at 7 p.m. Motorists and pedestrians
are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and
use an alternate route whenever possible.
