Eighth Street lane closure
								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announced today that beginning Saturday, Oct. 14, at 7 a.m., CMark, the contractor working for Verizon Midwest, will begin a crane lift operation at the Guitar Building located at 24 N. Eighth St. This work will result in the temporary closure of the northbound lane of Eighth Street between Broadway and Walnut Street. Traffic shall be maintained by flag men and signage. 
	The work should be completed and the street fully reopened, weather permitting, Monday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
