Street maintenance operations	
								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department announced today that beginning Oct. 16, APAC Inc., the contractor who was awarded the annual contract, will begin cold-milling and asphalt overlay of various city streets.  	
	Traffic will be monitored and maintained by flag men. The work should be completed, weather permitting, and the streets should be fully reopened by Thursday, Oct. 19, at 5 p.m. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route whenever possible.

Milling operation:
Monday, Oct. 16 - College Park & Ash 
Tuesday, Oct. 17 - Worley from West Boulevard to Stadium
Wednesday, Oct. 18 - Worley from McBaine to Sanford & Texas Avenue

Paving operation:
Tuesday, Oct. 17 - College Park & Ash
Wednesday, Oct. 18 - Worley from West Boulevard to Stadium	
Thursday, Oct. 19 - Worley from McBaine to Sanford & Texas Avenue
