Garth Avenue restricted to one lane next week
							
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - Columbia Water and Light will continue
replacing a water main line on East Broadway next week. The project will
require crews to work on Garth Avenue, north of Broadway, so traffic
will be restricted to one lane. The work on Garth will start Monday,
Aug. 13, and be completed on Thursday, Aug. 16, weather permitting. The
water main replacement on Broadway will continue near Second Street
after the Garth section has been completed. Motorists are urged to
exercise caution in this area or use an alternate route when possible.
	The existing four-inch water main is being replaced with an
eight-inch line to increase water pressure, which is beneficial for fire
fighting purposes. Customers will be individually notified of any
temporary disruptions in their water service while the work is being
done.
