Temporary closure of sidewalks surrounding Missouri Theatre

(COLUMBIA, MO) -- The Public Works Department announces that beginning
Aug. 16 at 7 a.m., Huebert Builders will begin remodeling the Missouri
Theatre at 203 S. Ninth St. This work will result in the closure of the
sidewalk and parking spaces in front of the Missouri Theatre on the west
side of Ninth Street  and on the north side of the building on Locust
Street. The work is expected to be completed May 1, 2008, weather
permitting. These sections of sidewalk on Ninth and Locusts streets will
be open during the evening hours throughout the remodeling, but closed
during daytime hours.
Pedestrians and motorists are advised to use extreme caution around the
work zone through May 1, 2008. Anyone having questions should contact
the Public Works Department at (573) 874-7250.
