State Farm Parkway & Southampton Drive nearing completion
									
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Columbia Public Works Department invites
the public to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the
completion of the new State Farm Parkway and Southampton Drive. A ribbon
cutting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 6, at 10 a.m. The ceremony will
take place near the new roundabout on State Farm Parkway and Southampton
Drive, just east of Providence Road. 
	Total cost for this project is $1.7 million. The project is
being funded by the MODOT Surface Transportation Program, special road
district tax and development charges. The new road will officially open
after the ceremony on Thursday. For more information, call the Public
