A previous media advisory stated the meetings on Dec. 11 have been
cancelled. At this time, those meetings are still being held. 

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 

Focus group meetings for new south regional park postponed

COLUMBIA, MO (December 10, 2007) - Due to the uncertain weather, focus
group meetings planned by the Columbia Parks and Recreation Department
have been postponed. The meetings were to be held at the ARC tonight
(Dec. 10) to gather input on the new regional park.

The meetings will likely be rescheduled in January.
