New twilight admission going into effect at Douglass Pool

COLUMBIA, MO (July 19, 2007) - Starting Saturday, July 21, swimmers
will be able to get into Douglass Family Aquatic Center at a lower
“twilight admission.” After 5 p.m. every day, patrons will be
admitted to the pool for only $1. 

The Columbia Parks and Recreation Department is extending the twilight
admission at the direction of City Council. Usual twilight admission
starts at 6 p.m. and costs $1.75. 

Douglass Pool is open daily. Hours are 1-7 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays,
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Hours are 3-9 p.m. on Tuesdays and
Thursdays. Douglass will close for the summer on Aug. 12.
