Residential structure fire at 2601 Limerick Lane

COLUMBIA, MO (June 19, 2007) - Columbia Fire Department investigators
have determined the cause of the structure fire at 2601 Limerick Lane
was accidental in nature. The exact cause was ruled an electrical short
in wiring located in the void area between the dining room ceiling and
the second floor.

Insurance adjusters have increased the damage estimates to $800,000.
Estimates include $550,000 for the structure and $250,000 for contents.
