Wabash Station

(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
received notice that the Wabash Station, located at 126 N. 10th St., was
evacuated at approximately 10:50 a.m. this morning. A ticking noise was
heard in one of the restrooms and Columbia Police were immediately
notified. The Bomb Squad was on site investigating and found a
battery-operated air freshener in a trash can. The all-clear to re-enter
the building was given at 11:30 a.m. The incident caused a short delay
in the Columbia Transit bus routes, but plans were to be back on
schedule shortly after noon today.
