Origin, cause of fire at 1501 Vandiver Drive, Lot 191

COLUMBIA, MO (March 22, 2007) -- Fire investigators have determined
that the origin of the fire at 1501 Vandiver Dr., Lot 191, on March 20
was in the trash can under the kitchen sink. The cause of the fire was
discarded smoking materials - a cigarette.

Fire spread from the cabinet under the sink to the exterior wall of the
manufactured home. 

Damage estimates to the home and contents are $4,000.
