Advancing Renewables in the Midwest Conference
(COLUMBIA, MO) - On Wednesday, March 28, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
the second annual Advancing Renewables in the Midwest Conference will
take place at the Anheuser-Busch Natural Resources Building on the
University of Missouri campus. Regional energy projects and
technologies, including the diverse resources of wind, efficiency,
biomass and solar, are discussed and exhibited at this one-day event
sponsored by Columbia Water and Light, Missouri Department of Natural
Resources and the University of Missouri.
The keynote speaker at the event will be Julia Judd, executive
director of the Solar Electric Power Association. Her presentation is
entitled the "National Perspective of Solar Energy". There will also be
display booth space at the conference for vendors of renewable energy
products and services. Exhibits are free and open to the public after
1:30 p.m.
