Citizen Topic Group meetings move to Lange Middle School

COLUMBIA, MO (May 14, 2007) - Starting this week, Lange Middle School
will be thesummer home of the Citizen Topic Group Visioning Meetings.
The next meeting will be held Wednesday, May 16, 6 - 8 p.m., at Lange
Middle School, 2201 Smiley Lane.

At this meeting, the Citizen Topic Group volunteers will begin a
Community Resources Scan. This activity will help topic groups identify
what community resources, initiatives and organizations should be
involved with each specific goal and strategy. It will also help the
groups define what actions are needed for successful implementation of
each strategy.

This is an important step in turning Columbia’s vision into reality.
