Louisville Drive closure
(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announced beginning
Thursday, May 24, Louisville Drive at the intersection with the future
Chapel Hill Road will be closed to through traffic until further
notice.
Emery Sapp & Sons Inc. of Columbia, Mo., will begin removing the
existing pavement of Louisville Drive in preparation for the
construction of Chapel Hill Road pavement through that intersection.
This closure is expected to remain in effect until July 1, weather
permitting. A public announcement will be issued prior to the reopening.
It is anticipated that construction of the entire length of
Chapel Hill Road from Gillespie Bridge Road to Scott’s Boulevard will
be completed by the fall of 2007. Care should be exercised in the
construction area and alternate routes should be used.
