Sewer work on University Avenue
				
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - On Monday, Nov. 19, at 8:30 a.m., the Public
Works Department Sewer Utility will begin repairing a sanitary main on
the north side of University Avenue just east of Hitt Street. The work
is expected to be completed by 4:30 p.m.  
	University Avenue will remain open to traffic passing through
the construction area but motorists should expect delays since the
eastbound and westbound traffic on University Avenue will have alternate
use of the one lane that will remain open. If inclement weather
postpones the work, it will be rescheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 20. 
	Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution when driving in
the work area and use alternate routes when possible. Anyone having
questions related to the planned work should call the Sewer Utility at
(573) 874-6287.
