Sewer work on East Walnut 
								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - On Monday, Nov. 19, at 8:30 a.m. the Public
Works Department Sewer Utility will begin repairing a sanitary manhole
on the north side of East Walnut Street, just west of College Avenue.
The work is expected to be completed by 4:30 p.m.  
	East Walnut will remain open to traffic passing through the
construction area, but motorists should expect delays since the
eastbound and west bound traffic on East Walnut will have alternate use
of the one lane that will remain open. If inclement weather postpones
the work, it will be rescheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 21. 
	Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution when driving in
the work area and use alternate routes when possible. Anyone having
questions related to the planned work should call the Sewer Utility at
(573) 874-6287.
