Public meeting for shelter/restroom projects at Cosmo-Bethel and Cosmo
Park

COLUMBIA, MO (October 2, 2007) - The Columbia Parks and Recreation
Department announces an informal open house/public meeting concerning
the replacement of the Cosmo-Bethel shelter and restroom and the
replacement of the Lamb and Burford restrooms in Cosmo Park. 

The meeting will be held Thursday, Oct. 18, between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
at the ARC (Activity and Recreation Center), 1701 West Ash St., Meeting
Room A. 

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss proposed plans for the new
shelter and restrooms in Cosmo-Bethel and Columbia Cosmopolitan
Recreation Area (Cosmo Park). The project is identified for construction
in 2008. Information, plans and diagrams for these projects will be
available for public review, and city staff will be present to answer
questions and receive comments.
