Soil boring rescheduled
(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announces the soil
boring originally scheduled for today have been rescheduled to Monday,
Sept. 17. Engineering Survey and Services Inc. will conduct soil boring
tests on the following streets: Maupin, Edgewood, Westwood and Glenwood.
These tests are being conducted to check rock depth for a pending sewer
project in the area. The work should be completed and each street fully
reopened, weather permitting, by the end of the day.
Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution
when in the work zone and use an alternate route whenever possible. For
questions concerning the soil boring, please call the Public Works
Department at (573) 874-7250.
