Columbia/Boone County Health Department verifies fifth West Nile case 
COLUMBIA, MO (September 21, 2007) - 

WHERE: Intersection of Hwy. 124 and Route U 
WHO: A woman in her early 40s
WHEN: Columbia/Boone County Health Department verified this case on
Sept. 20
WHAT: West Nile Virus- The symptoms of West Nile Virus vary depending
on the level of infection. Symptoms can include high fever, neck
stiffness, muscle weakness, nausea and occasionally swollen lymph glands
or a skin rash on the chest, stomach and back. 

In order to establish awareness in the community, the Columbia/Boone
County Health Department has made available the spraying schedule and
general locations. Data and more information about West Nile is
