One lane of Ripley closed for electric work

	(Columbia, MO)  -- Columbia Water & Light will move the electric
service to Benton Elementary School from overhead to underground on May
1-2, weather permitting. One lane of Ripley Street, from Hinkson Avenue
to Hodge Street, will be closed while the electric service upgrade is
being completed. One lane of traffic will remain open at all times.
Motorists are asked to find alternate routes if possible or to use
caution when traveling in this area. There are not expected to be any
electric service disruptions during this project.
