deer management program. The sessions are open to the public at no
charge.
The one-hour sessions will be held at the Activity and

only times when city hunting permits will be issued.
● Saturday, Aug. 23, at 8:30 a.m.
● Thursday, Aug. 28, at 3 p.m.
● Thursday, Aug. 28, at 6:30 p.m.
Bow hunting will be permitted during two seasons:

Hunting will be permitted at the Sanitary Landfill; Grindstone
Nature Area; a portion of Twin Lakes Recreation Area; Smith Park on the
southwest corner of Waco Road and Brown Station Road; and at sewer

To hunt at the designated locations, hunters must attend one of
the three orientation sessions, obtain a permit and carry it while
hunting on city property or display it in vehicles in designated parking
areas. Hunters shall also follow all relevant Missouri Department of
Conservation rules, regulations and requirements related to hunting.
