Chip sealing streets
(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announces that from Monday, Aug.18, at 7 a.m. through Friday, Aug. 22,
at 3:30 p.m. the Street Division will perform chip seal maintenance on
the following streets:
Glenwood Court from Glenwood Avenue to west end; south Glenwood
from Stewart to south end; Lathrop from Westmount to West Boulevard;
Lindell Drive from Greenwood to Stewart; Bradford from Sunset to west
end; Pinewood from north end to Ash Street; Pinewood from Ash Street to
Gary Street; Redwood from north end to Ash Street; Redwood from Ash
Street to Gary Street; Ivy Way from E. Briarwood Lane to W. Briarwood
Lane; Rockingham Drive from Broadway to Longfellow; Norma Court from
Joann to south end; West Boulevard Court from north end to Hatton Drive;
Johnson from Overhill to Ridgefield; Concordia Drive from Bourn Avenue
to Bourn Avenue; Parkridge Court from east end to Parkridge Drive;
Parkridge Drive from north end to Ridgemont; Rainwood Place from north
end to Chapel Hill; Garrison Place from north end to Chapel Hill; Grand
Avenue from Business Loop to Sexton Road; Florence Avenue from Donnelly
to Worley; Forest Avenue from Garth to Madison; London Drive from West
Boulevard to west end; Parkade Boulevard from Garth Avenue to Texas;
Parkade Boulevard from Bus Loop to cul-de-sac and Kathy Drive from Texas
to Texas.
This work will result in temporary lane restrictions on the
streets listed above. The work should be completed and the streets fully
reopened each day, weather permitting. Parking on the street will be
restricted during this period. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to
exercise extreme caution when in the construction area and use an
alternate route whenever possible.
