Dignity and Justice for All

COLUMBIA, MO (December 3, 2008) - The Columbia/Boone County Department
of Public Health and Human Services, along with the city of Columbia
Human Rights Commission, invites the public to join in celebrating Human
Rights Day Wednesday, Dec. 10, 4 p.m. at the Columbia/Boone County
Department of Public Health and Human Services in the Sanford-Kimpton
Building, 1005 West Worley, in Columbia

Mayor Darwin Hindman will enter a proclamation proclaiming Dec. 10,
2008, Human Rights Day in Columbia, Mo.

The celebration highlights human rights services provided by the city
of Columbia and commemorates the 60th anniversary of the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights. This unique 30-article document is now
available in over 360 languages and is the most translated document in
the world.
