Multiple fires intentionally set inside of business

COLUMBIA, MO (December 19, 2008) - Around 9:26 p.m., the Columbia Fire
Department was called for an investigation at 200 Portland. The arriving
fire crew was told that three small fires appeared to be intentionally
set on two different levels of the business located at the address
(Boyce & Bynum).

The fire crew called for a Columbia fire investigator who worked
jointly with members of the Columbia Police Department to investigate
the incident. Minimal damage has been discovered and the investigation
remains underway.

Several employees were in the building during the one-hour time frame
of the three small fires.
