Hardin Street Reconstruction Project
(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia Public Works Department
announces that beginning Monday, July 28, at 8 a.m., Southern Ditching
and Excavating Company of Saint Peters, Mo., will begin work on the
reconstruction of Hardin Street. This work will result in temporary lane
restrictions on Hardin Street from Ash to Worley Street. The project
consists of new sidewalk and new pavement on a portion of the street at
an estimated cost of $224,000.
The work should be completed by late October, weather
permitting. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme
caution when in the construction area and use an alternate route
whenever possible.
