Soil boring at Fifth and Walnut
								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Public Works Department announces that on
Tuesday, June 10, Engineering Survey and Services Inc. will conduct soil
boring tests in the parking lot at Fifth and Walnut streets in
preparation for a new city garage. This work will result in unavailable
parking spaces within 30 feet of the drill sites in the city parking lot
across from the post office. The work should be completed, weather
permitting, by Thursday, June 12. The drill rig is extremely weather
dependent. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme
caution when in the area and use an alternate route whenever possible.
