Public meeting for Sixth Ward GetAbout Columbia projects
								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - Sixth Ward Council Representative Barbara Hoppe
and the Public Works Department will host an informational meeting open
to the public concerning the proposed GetAbout Columbia plan in the
Sixth Ward. The meeting will be held Tuesday, June 17, at 5:30 p.m. at
Shepard Boulevard Elementary School, 2616 Shepard Blvd.
	The emphasis will be on understanding the GetAbout Columbia plan
and the nonmotorized project and on the purpose and goals of the
nonmotorized federal funding. Information, maps and diagrams will be
available for public review. City staff and Council representatives will
be present.
	PLEASE NOTE - This is a meeting to build understanding about the
proposed GetAbout Columbia plan and how the federal funding works,
including the process for decision-making of what to do and the design.
It is not a meeting to advocate or oppose any particular project or
design. Those opportunities exist at the interested parties meetings and
the public hearing before Council.
