Explosion at 308 McNab on March 14 caused by natural gas; source and
ignition factors unknown

COLUMBIA, MO (March 19, 2008) - Columbia Fire Department fire
investigators have concluded that the explosion at 308 McNab on March 14
at 11:21 a.m. was caused by natural gas. Fire investigators have ruled
out all other sources for an explosion in the residence. 

The source of gas in the residence and the ignition source which caused
the explosion and ensuing fire is undetermined.
