City Hall ‘Extreme Makeover’ begins 8:30 a.m., Wednesday

COLUMBIA, MO (May 20, 2008) - 

When: Wednesday, May 21, 2008, 8:30 a.m.

Where: East of the Daniel Boone Building, 701 E. Broadway. Access the
fenced area from Seventh Street and follow to the podium.

What: Mayor Hindman will preside over ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark
the demolition of the Finance “annex” at Eighth and Broadway to make
room for construction of a five-story addition to City Hall.

Notes:
Phase II of the City Hall Expansion and Renovation Project begins with
a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by a backhoe starting the initial
demolition of the Finance annex at Eighth and Broadway. The addition to
the Daniel Boone Building is expected to be complete in the fall 2010.
