City manager's news conference set for 9:30 a.m. Friday

COLUMBIA, MO (November 12, 2008) - 

When: Friday, Nov. 14 - 9:30 a.m.

Where: City Council Chamber, 4th floor, Daniel Boone Building, 701 E.
Broadway

What: Assistant City Manager Paula Hertwig Hopkins will provide updates
on city activities and review the Nov. 17 City Council agenda.

Notes: The public can watch Columbia Channel rebroadcasts of the
address Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. - airing on
Mediacom channel 13, Charter Communications channel 2 and channel 401 on
CenturyTel Service. 

Council Agenda and support materials will be available online at
www.GoColumbiaMo.com after 12 a.m., Nov. 14.

Planning Ahead: Due to the Thanksgiving holiday Thursday, Nov. 27, the
press conference originally scheduled for Friday, Nov. 28, will be held
at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26.
