Citizens may now pay traffic fines online or by phone

(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia now offers citizens a more
convenient method to pay traffic fines. TrafficPayment.com allows the
public to pay citations online or over the phone, 24 hours a day, seven
days a week.
Citizens may visit www.TrafficPayment.com or the city’s Web
site at www.GoColumbiaMo.com to pay tickets online or call
1-800-444-1187 to pay by phone. TrafficPayment.com adds a convenience
fee to each transaction. On a typical $75 traffic ticket, the customer
would pay a $6.95 convenience fee to cover the cost of providing this
service. The fee is retained by TrafficPayment.com, not the city.
TrafficPayment.com is located in Addison, Texas. The company
provides online and phone payment systems to municipalities and schools
at no additional cost to the institution.
