ARC and Columbia Fire Department offer Firefighter Challenge 

COLUMBIA, MO (September 19, 2008) - Experience what it takes to be a
firefighter! The Activity and Recreation Center (ARC), the Columbia Fire
Department and Local 1055 will hold the Firefighter Challenge from 9
a.m. to noon on Oct. 4. 

The Challenge will take place in the field next to the ARC, at 1701 W.
Ash. It is free and open to anyone from age 11 to adult. Commemorative
T-shirts will be available for sale. 

Several challenge stations will be open including an obstacle course
with tasks involving fire equipment and a hose, a straw maze and
Firetruck 101.
