Public meeting scheduled for Philips Park Phase I Development

COLUMBIA, MO (April 3, 2009) - The Columbia Parks and Recreation
Department will hold an interested parties meeting for the first phase
of the development of Philips Park. The proposed development includes an
entrance road, parking lot, boat ramp, courtesy boat dock, floating
fishing dock, restrooms, security lighting and sidewalks connecting
facilities. 

The meeting will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, at the
Activity and Recreation Center (ARC), 1701 W. Ash Street. 

The public is invited to preview the plans and offer comments. Staff
will be on site to answer questions.
