West Broadway Community Advisory Committee formed

(COLUMBIA, MO) - The city of Columbia announces the formation of
a Community Advisory Committee (CAC) to work with consultants, CH2M
HILL, on the West Broadway design project. The city is conducting the
West Broadway project to address transportation needs and community
values along West Broadway, between Garth Avenue and West Boulevard. The
purpose of establishing a committee is to ensure these future roadway
improvements reflect the goals and values of the community.
The committee will make project recommendations for preliminary
design efforts for improvements along West Broadway. The first meeting
of the CAC is Wednesday, April 8, from 4:30-6 p.m. in the Mezzanine
Conference Room of the Daniel Boone Building, 701 E. Broadway. This
meeting is open to the public. Tentative future meeting dates have been
set for April 15, April 29 and May 13.
More information about the project can be obtained by contacting
Buddy Desai with CH2M Hill at (314) 335-3011.
