City offices closed for Christmas holiday		
						
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - City offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 25, in
observance of Christmas. Residential refuse, recycling and yard waste
collections for Friday will be delayed until Saturday. Questions
concerning holiday refuse collection should be directed to the Solid
Waste Division at 874-6291. 
	City buses will not operate, the sanitary landfill will be
closed and parking meter regulations will not be enforced Dec. 25. On
Thursday, Dec. 24, Columbia Transit's last departure from the Wabash
Station will be at 7:25 p.m. 
	Though administrative offices for both the police and fire
departments will be closed Dec. 25, all other emergency services will be
available.
