Columbia Transit to provide shuttles for First Night 
								
	(COLUMBIA, MO) - Avoid the parking hassle on Thursday night and
catch the New Year’s Eve First Night shuttles for entertainment and
festivities. First Night shuttles, provided by Columbia Transit, begin
at 6 p.m. and run until 12:30 a.m. 
	Two city buses will run a shuttle route that winds through the
First Night footprint. One route will go south to the Missouri Theatre
and one will go east to the venues around Stephens College. The bus will
always stop at four designated stops, but will also be able to make
other stops as requested. Busses should be by every 10-15 minutes. A map
showing routes and bus stops can be seen online at
www.firstnightcolumbia.org. 
	There is no cost to ride the First Night shuttles. Parking
garages are available at 6th, 8th, 10th and Cherry, and 8th and Walnut.
